Pharmacy Residency Program

Upon completion of Riverview Health's Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) pharmacy residency program, the resident will be an experienced and competent provider of individual-based pharmaceutical care in a variety of health settings. The primary goal of the residency program is to develop well-rounded pharmacy practitioners and future leaders in pharmacy.

The resident will have the opportunity to become skilled in pharmacy practice areas that include:

• Internal medicine
• Medical and surgical intensive care
• Ambulatory care
• Infectious disease
• Pharmacy management and operations

By the end of the residency program, the resident will display professional maturity by establishing a personal philosophy of practice, demonstrating leadership and commitment to the pharmacy profession, as well as monitoring their own performance.

Noblesville offers small-town charm and big-city attractions in nearby Indianapolis—providing the best of both worlds. Popular draws include four professional sports teams, the Indianapolis 500, canoeing on the White River, taking a bike ride on the Monon Trail, large shopping centers and the Indianapolis Art Museum. Riverview Health is located between Butler University, Purdue University, and Manchester University Colleges of Pharmacy.
