Riverview Health

Riverview Health employees are provided with two ways to access internal resources from external locations and mobile devices. Permission to access resources remotely must be pre-arranged by your manager and the Information Systems department.

Accessing Applications Remotely

Riverview Health employees who require remote access to applications such as Kronos or QuadraMed may use the Citrix XenApp environment via https://apps.riverview.org on a desktop or laptop computer. Log in when prompted as you typically would on the Riverview Health campus.

To access remote applications on a mobile device such as an Android, Blackberry, Chromebook, iPad, iPhone or Kindle Fire, visit http://www.citrix.com/receiver or your device's app store to download a version of the Citrix Receiver client specific to your device. This one-time download will be necessary in order to access Riverview Health remote applications on your mobile device.

Accessing Desktops Remotely

Employees who require remote access to a desktop with applications may use the VMware View environment via https://desktops.riverview.org. Users should follow the on-screen prompts in order to connect via VMware View.

To access desktops remotely on a mobile device such as an Android, iPad or other tablet (no smartphones), visit your device’s app store to download a version of the VMware View client specific to your device. This one-time download will be necessary in order to access Riverview Health remote applications on your mobile device.
