As a county-owned hospital, Riverview Health serves the needs of all individuals in its community.

Riverview Health continually identifies health priorities for those in Hamilton County and works to provide solutions aimed at keeping the community healthy. Each year, Riverview Health provides millions of dollars in uncompensated care.

Riverview Health offers a number of free educational classes and seminars, providing valuable health information to people in the community. We also partner with other healthcare institutions to provide easy access to healthcare resources. View our Classes & Events.

Community Health Needs Assessments

Riverview Health determines how to better serve our community by conducting and analyzing periodic Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNAs). The two most recent CHNAs performed by Riverview Health are available by clicking the hyperlinks below:

Riverview Health Rides

Since 2015, Riverview Health Rides, in partnership with Janus Developmental Services, has provided door-to-door transportation for medical appointments at Riverview Health facilities. After many years of service, Riverview Health Rides will be discontinued at the end of 2023. The last day of service will be Friday, Dec. 29. Until then, Riverview Health Rides will continue to be available to patients Monday through Friday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. To reserve a ride, please call 317.473.2323 Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. View other ride options >>
