Riverview Health is accredited by a number of leading regulatory agencies, including:

Heart and Vascular Services

Riverview Health was the first hospital in the area to become an accredited chest pain center by the American College of Cardiology. We have maintained this accreditation since 2007.

Riverview Health is one of only five hospitals in the state to achieve American College of Cardiology’s NCDR ACTION Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award, the highest level award possible.

Healthgrades

Riverview Health earned several national awards from Healthgrades, including America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery two years in a row (2018-2019)––the only hospital in Indiana with that distinction. Healthgrades is the leading online resource for comprehensive information about physicians and hospitals.

Inspire Hospital of Distinction

Riverview Health was recognized in 2020 and 2021 by the Indiana Hospital Association (IHA), in partnership with Governor Eric J. Holcomb and State Health Commissioner Kris Box, MD, FACOG, with the Inspire Hospital of Distinction award for its commitment to infant and maternal health.

INspire, funded by the Indiana Department of Health’s Safety PIN grant, was developed to implement the delivery of best practice care for Hoosier moms and babies and recognize hospitals for excellence in addressing key drivers of infant and maternal health. Riverview Health earned the Hospital of Distinction award based on implementing best practices in five key areas, including infant safe sleep, breastfeeding, tobacco prevention and cessation, perinatal substance use, and obstetric hemorrhage.

 

Indiana State Department of Health Commissioner's Gold Award for Perinatal Infection Prevention

This award is in recognition of best practices in the prevention of perinatal hepatitis B infection.

 

Five Star AchieveWell

Riverview Health has earned the Five Star AchieveWell award through the Wellness Council of Indiana, an honor recognizing elite organizations that have experienced noteworthy growth in the evolution of their wellness initiatives.

 

Professional Research Consultants Awards

Riverview Health is regularly recognized by Professional Research Consultants, Inc. (PRC) for its care. Most recently, Riverview Health scored in the top 10 percent nationally among all of PRC’s hospitals in three areas:
