“I have worked at Riverview Health for over 11 years. However, nursing is not my first career.

I worked at a GM factory in Anderson, and when they closed their doors, I was given the opportunity to go back to school.

Every day presents new challenges as a nurse. I am passionate about helping people and enjoy caring for my patients and their families.

I love working at Riverview Health. I like that it’s a smaller hospital and you get to know everyone. My co-workers have become like family.

I am married and have five children, but most importantly, I have nine grandkids! My free time is usually spent with my grandkids. I have a daughter that lives in California with three of my grandkids, so when I travel, that’s where I go! My other six grandchildren live locally.

I also have a brother with Alzheimer’s that lives at Riverwalk Village, so after work, you will find me there encouraging him to eat his dinner!” -Jayne, RN
