“I’ve been with Riverview Health for five and a half years. I entered into this position after working for Marsh Supermarkets corporate headquarters for twenty-plus years. After it closed, I knew I wanted to work somewhere close to home and work with people.

I love working at Riverview Health because I get to interact with patients, their families and, of course, my wonderful coworkers. I love being able to make someone smile or laugh if they are having a rough day, give words of encouragement when someone is feeling down or just a simple conversation to calm a patient’s nerves. I enjoy being an EPIC trainer and teaching new employees how to navigate through the system.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and have been married for more than 40 years. I also enjoy spending time with my daughter and my two grandsons. I really enjoy feeding and watching hummingbirds and taking care of my flowers.” -Sue, patient access specialist
