CPR Class

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can be a life-saving measure until a person is treated by a medical professional. You can be prepared to help someone in need by learning how to give CPR.

Hands-on Heartsaver CPR Skills Check

We are available to provide in-person CPR skills check-offs for teachers or anyone who needs it.

How it works:

  1. Complete the American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED online course by visiting https://elearning.heart.org/course/8
  2. Print your online course completion certificate and bring it with you to your hands-on CPR skills check with Riverview Health.
  3. Pass the hands-on CPR skills check (takes about 30 minutes).
  4. Receive your course completion card immediately upon passing your hands-on CPR skills check. This is proof of your CPR and first aid training.

Schedule your hands-on CPR skills check appointment by calling Melanie Russell at 785.639.6787. Cost is $20 and includes the skills check-of and card.
