The much-anticipated Riverview Health Westfield Hospital is now open. The new building has a variety of medical services that will open in phases. The first two floors are already open, while the remainder of the building will be finished a few months later.
The hospital holds the area’s first and only combined emergency and urgent care center. When you’re injured, you may not be sure about what level of care you need. Having urgent care and emergency services together with one convenient access point means you don’t have to make that decision on your own. You only have to come to one place, and you will be guided to the level of care you need.
Riverview Health Outpatient Pharmacy—Westfield relocated to our Westfield hospital. The pharmacy serves both inpatient and outpatient needs and will offer a convenient drive-thru window later this year.
The hospital has a full lab that offers both inpatient and outpatient services and tests.
The imaging center provides services for the hospital’s inpatients, as well as those visiting the Emergency Department or Urgent Care Center. Patients may also schedule services ordered by a physician. The services include ultrasound, digital X-ray, 3-D mammography, CT and MRI scans.
A third WorkMed clinic is located in the hospital. Our other two locations are in Noblesville.
Riverview Health provides employer services for Westfield Washington Schools, Hamilton County and the City of Westfield. Employees from all of those organizations are now able to access care at this location.
The second floor houses five inpatient beds as well as surgery services. The hospital has three surgery suites and the necessary recovery rooms and pre- and post-operative rooms.
Once open, the third floor will be an inpatient unit with 16 private, spacious patient rooms.
Riverview Health Physicians Orthopedics & Sports Medicine will have an office on the fourth floor and will house sports medicine physicians Roy Henderson, MD, Joseph Hui, MD, and orthopedic surgeons Christy Kellams, MD, and Michael Kaveney, MD. This office will also have a walk-in orthopedic clinic.
The fourth floor will also hold outpatient rehabilitation services, including physical therapy and occupational therapy.
The fifth floor will house Riverview Health Physicians primary care providers Valerie Beard, MD, Jeffrey Klak, DO, and internal medicine provider Sonal Ravichandran, MD. It will also include endocrinology and general surgery.
The sixth floor will provide room for growth for other physicians, such as surgical specialists.
