Family Medicine
“I always strive to create a comfortable setting for patients where they feel like they can talk to their physician about anything on their minds. I hope to be welcoming and provide a space for patients to ask the sometimes-difficult questions about their health.”
I chose to specialize in Family Medicine because I enjoy being able to care for an entire family and work as a team in navigating each individual's health. I have always loved the ability to care for a broad spectrum of ages, and it brings me joy in my career to see different generations of a family grow. Riverview Health is a wonderful fit for me, as it gave me the ability to bring my focus back to the patient-physician relationship.
As an osteopathic physician, I attempt to focus on the whole body and work toward teaching my patients how to live a healthy lifestyle through nutrition and physical activity. I always hope to educate my patients and come up with a treatment plan that is team-based between the physician and patient.
I was born and raised in Zionsville, and after graduating from Indiana University with an undergraduate degree in biology, I completed medical school at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri. I returned to Indianapolis after medical school, where I completed my residency at Community Health Network and served as chief resident. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, watching IU basketball, playing tennis, and traveling.
