About this provider:

Dr. Trenton Schmale strives to be an advocate for his patients while helping them navigate their healthcare every step of the way. Dr. Schmale treats all ages and focuses on preventive medicine as well as managing ongoing health problems.

 
Dr. Schmale is passionate about sports medicine and played football at Carmel High School and at Taylor University. He is board-certified in sports medicine and family medicine, with an interest in preventive medicine and outpatient procedures. He also completed a sports fellowship at the University of Missouri Kansas City where he specialized in primary care sports medicine and musculoskeletal ultrasound. Dr. Schmale attended medical school at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to becoming a physician, he worked as a contracted biochemist at Lilly.

Dr. Schmale enjoys building strong relationships with his patients and their families, as well as being an active member of his local community. He spends his spare time with his wife and kids and cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Nebraska Cornhuskers. Dr. Schmale enjoys hiking, skiing, and playing card and board games.
