Breast Reduction with Tumor Excision

This is a 22-year-old female who came to our office with interest in a breast reduction.  She presented with all of the typical symptoms caused by large breasts, including back/neck/shoulder pain, shoulder grooving, and headaches. In addition, she was found to have multiple benign breast tumors prior to surgical intervention.

A total of 619 grams of tissue was removed from her left breast and 616 grams was removed from her right breast.  Dr. Tieman was joined by general surgeon, Dr. Heiser, during this case to address the tumors present in the patient's breasts.  Three masses were excised during the breast reduction.

This patient is only 1 month out from surgery and is extremely happy with her results thus far.  We expect that her incisions will continue to soften/lighten over time.  All of her pathology came back benign.
