NOBLESVILLE, IN — Riverview Health Foundation hosted the Gratitude Gala, a black-tie event, on Friday, September 12, to support patients at Riverview Health. Over 300 attendees enjoyed an evening featuring casino games, a bourbon pull, a dessert dash, and a silent and live auction. With the support of their community presenting sponsor, Parkview Health, additional sponsors and generous attendees, the event raised over $350,000.

This year’s Gratitude Gala gave us a chance to recognize a few individuals who have had a significant impact on Riverview Health, while raising funds for Riverview Health Foundation. This year, while highlighting Riverview Health’s values of Compassion, Belonging and Excellence, the Foundation shared stories of Tom and Soni Sheehan, Jill Fleenor and Dr. Shelly Friedman, who during their lives made a tremendous impact on Riverview Health,” stated Megan Wiles, Vice President, Foundation and Community Affairs, Riverview Health. “We were honored to celebrate their memories and all they did for our community while raising important funds to benefit those who are being cared for at Riverview Health.”

Funds from the event will be designated for the continued renovation of the Mindrebo Family Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and the Help for Healing Fund. To better serve the community and support the dedicated members of the Riverview Health team, the Foundation is calling on the community to help with this vital project and funds for those most in need, ensuring Riverview Health can continue to serve its patients with the highest standard of care for years to come.

The community’s continued support of Riverview Health Foundation is an investment in our shared future,” said Dave Hyatt, President and CEO of Riverview Health. "With the support of individuals, families and businesses, Riverview Health is able to invest in the resources and infrastructure necessary to meet our community’s evolving healthcare needs.”

The 2025 Gratitude Gala was made possible because of support from the following sponsors: community presenting sponsor Parkview Health; platinum sponsor Innovcare; gold sponsors Barnes & Thornburg and Riverview Health Auxiliary; silver sponsors Gaylor Electric, Krieg Devault, and Riverview Health Medical Staff; diamond sponsor Smith’s Jewelers; beverage sponsors Big Red Liquors and Tito’s Handmade Vodka; silent auction sponsor Plum Creek Partners; entertainment sponsors American Senior Communities, American Structurepoint, Hematology Oncology of Indiana, and Meyer Najem.
