NOBLESVILLE, IN — Riverview Health Foundation raised over $25,000 at the Wine, Women and Whiffs Golf Tournament at Purgatory Golf Club on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. This women-only 9-hole golf outing raised funds to purchase new, state-of-the-art equipment for Riverview Health that enhances care and treatment for those facing breast cancer. Over 100 golfers and 10 volunteers attended this year’s event, raising awareness, fostering community involvement and driving support for our mission to advance the community’s health and quality of life through charitable giving.
“We love hosting this event to support projects and programs at Riverview Health focused on women and children,” said Megan Wiles, Vice President, Foundation and Community Affairs, Riverview Health. “While we’ll continue to direct some funds to The Milk Bank for donor milk, a portion of this year's proceeds will support women going through breast cancer."
Wiles also noted that later this year, Riverview Health will welcome two new breast surgeons, and the Foundation is helping acquire new technology for them to care for all patients.
“We are thankful for the women in healthcare, women-owned businesses, and community advocates who support this event each year,” said Polly Craig, Philanthropy Officer of Riverview Health Foundation. “It is a fun way to gather women and raise support and awareness of the needs for breast cancer patients. Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s event.”
The Wine, Women and Whiffs Golf Tournament was made possible due to the support from Sommelier sponsors American Structurepoint, Arrow Fiduciary Services, CarDon & Associates, Indiana Members Credit Union, Riverview Health Emergency Room & Urgent Care and Executive Women in Healthcare. Additional support was provided by Food and Beverage sponsors Board & Brush Noblesville, IN and Gaylor Electric, hole sponsors and attendees.
