Therapy—including physical, occupational and speech—provides a way to recover from an injury, surgery or disease to improve your condition and quality of life. At Riverview Health, we offer a wide range of therapies to help people reduce pain levels and maximize their abilities.
Come to Riverview Health to receive any of the following therapies.
In addition to rehabilitation after a surgery or injury, physical therapy provides exercises that help aid a full recovery. Our licensed physical therapists will create a customized plan for you, depending on your condition, and work with you to meet your goals.
Mental, physical and cognitive disorders may keep you from completing daily tasks. Our occupational therapists teach you to accomplish basic skills needed to live a more independent life.
Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and other neurological issues can impact your ability to speak or swallow. The speech therapists at Riverview Health work with patients to use the proper muscles to complete important activities without assistance.
Our pediatric therapists are friendly and have experience working with a number of pediatric disorders, including autism, Down syndrome, spina bifida, torticollis, brain injury and cerebral palsy. We offer pediatric occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy.
