Class Spotlight: Arthritis Aquatics

Published by Riverview Health on April 29, 2015

The Arthritis Aquatics class at Riverview Health Rehab & Fitness is a gentle, flowing form of warm-water exercise that helps relieve pain and stiffness while improving joint flexibility.Arthritis Aquatics

Water-based exercise is a great way to move your muscles and joints without worsening your symptoms of arthritis. Participating in physical activity in the water significantly decreases the amount of weight and pressure put on your joints, allowing you to move freely.

Sessions are led by experienced aquatic instructors who follow Arthritis Foundation recommendations.

Come join the fun in our 90-degree pool, where you can make new friends and get a great workout.

Classes run in eight-week sessions, but individual class passes are available.
