Lisa Conner, FNP
Lisa Conner, FNP received her nurse practitioner education from Ball State University. As a family nurse practitioner, she enjoys caring for a wide range of ages from children to adults. Lisa strives to partner with her patients and develop a personalized care plan that meets their unique needs. Health and wellness have always been a big part of Lisa’s life. She enjoys staying active and has competed in three NCAA Division I swimming championships in her lifetime. Lisa is passionate about collaborating with her patients to help them pursue a healthy lifestyle as well, and she enjoys helping others identify ways to integrate activities that encourage movement into their lives.
Kiersten McKinney, FNP
Kiersten attended Purdue University for her undergraduate degree (she still considers herself a Boilermaker at heart) and received her nurse practitioner education from Ball State University. As a nurse practitioner, Kiersten strives to treat each patient she meets as a whole person. Kiersten understands each patient is more than a diagnosis or illness, and she enjoys collaborating with everyone she sees in the office to determine the best treatment for their unique situation. Kiersten prioritizes listening carefully during patient visits and she works to help them reach their health and wellness goals.
Lisa Mickelson, NP
Family nurse practitioner Lisa Mickelson is dedicated to helping patients of all ages with a wide variety of issues and concerns. Her approach to care is to prioritize patient education, ensuring her patients understand their care plan and feel empowered on their journey back to better health. Originally from Chicago, Mickelson has had the opportunity to travel the world and live abroad in Germany and China. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked in an adult cardiovascular ICU and was a school nurse for grades K-12.
Stacia Frazee, NP
Stacia Frazee, NP is a board-certified family medicine nurse practitioner who excels at connecting with patients on a personal level, striving to treat each individual as a whole person. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Indianapolis and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Stacia’s personal practice philosophy revolves around empathy. She believes that each person has their own experiences, abilities, strengths and weaknesses – all of which can impact their health and wellbeing. Through empathetic care, she provides positive health outcomes so her patients can thrive through every stage of life.
Whitney P. Wagner, FNP-C
As a family nurse practitioner, Whitney has the opportunity to care for people of all ages. She loves to meet new people and get to know them. She chose to practice at Riverview Health because they put their patients first, and as a healthcare provider, taking care of the patient as a whole person (mind, body, spirit) is of utmost importance to her.
Behavioral Health
Thomas Barbera, PhD, HSPP
Dr. Tom Barbera and the staff of Riverview Health Behavioral Care will provide psychological assessment and treatment to individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, insomnia, PTSD/trauma, stress-related disorders, OCD, tobacco use and weight management.
Dr. Barbera strives to provide compassionate, effective and efficient treatment to help individuals achieve their goals. He is passionate about growing the behavioral health program at Riverview Health.
Dr. Barbera earned his medical degree from the University of New Mexico. He is an Air Force veteran and has lived in Hamilton County since 2001.
Kimberly J. Moran, PsyD
Dr. Kimberly Moran has a passion for helping others. She believes people have an amazing capacity for change and growth but sometimes need a safe, neutral setting with an objective person to help them on their life journey. Dr. Moran chose to practice at Riverview Health because of its focus on serving and helping its community.
She provides individual therapy as well as couples or family therapy. She tends to utilize a cognitive behavioral and humanistic approach. Dr. Moran is genuine, down-to-earth and truly interested in helping other people.
Dr. Moran is originally from a small town in Indiana but has moved around and lived in Germany for four years. She has interests in gardening, reading, movies, creating stained glass and listening to live music. Dr. Moran attended the University of Indianapolis and completed fellowship training with IUPUI Counseling and Psychological Services.
