I was drawn to Family Medicine because I see it as the medical specialty with the most holistic approach. I enjoy incorporating aspects of all areas of medicine across the full lifespan. I see patient care as a commitment to working with a person with a unique combination of history, personality and circumstance. I am a good listener, and it is important to me to use my skills to observe and reach a diagnosis and plan that will help improve health and quality of life.

I chose to practice with Riverview Health because of its similar philosophy and commitment to keeping our larger family of neighbors with the best access to high-quality care.

I see the field of medicine as an art as much as a science. I have always been drawn to the creative arts as a way to nurture myself and the world around me. I am an avid musician—as a singer and instrumentalist—and I enjoy cooking and gardening.
