Bilateral Breast Reconstruction with Direct-to-Implant Placement
This is a female who was diagnosed with breast cancer of her right breast found on routine mammography. Due to the nature of her cancer, she opted for a bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. Placement of silicone breast implants and acellular dermal matrices was done at the time of her mastectomy.
She is healing very well and is happy with her results thus far.
