Chemotherapy & Infusion Therapy
Riverview Health

For More Information

Riverview Health offers outpatient infusion and injection therapy for adults in our comfortable infusion center where our skilled, compassionate staff members care for patients seven days a week.

For some patients, the best treatment option is to receive medication through an IV rather than pills. Infusion and injection therapy, or giving medication through an IV, is used to treat cancer, dehydration and infections that cannot be treated with oral antibiotics. Patients requiring infusion therapy come in to the hospital periodically to receive treatment and then are free to go home and get back to living their lives.

The infusion center at Riverview Health consists of common areas that have a total of 16 comfortable, infusion chairs—including 10 heated, massaging chairs—and seven beds.

Infusion therapy can be a confusing or scary time for some, but the infusion center staff is happy to put you at ease by answering your questions and providing additional education and support.

All infusion and injection therapy services require a prescription from a physician with privileges at Riverview Health.
