Riverview Health offers outpatient infusion and injection therapy for adults in our comfortable infusion center where our skilled, compassionate staff members care for patients seven days a week.
For some patients, the best treatment option is to receive medication through an IV rather than pills. Infusion and injection therapy, or giving medication through an IV, is used to treat cancer, dehydration and infections that cannot be treated with oral antibiotics. Patients requiring infusion therapy come into the hospital periodically to receive treatment and then are free to go home and get back to living their lives.
The Courtney Cox Cole Infusion Center at Riverview Health offers a welcoming environment to patients with natural light and an open floor plan. This new and expanded space is comforting with a soothing color pallet and calming artwork. The Courtney Cox Cole Infusion Center is designed to accommodate a variety of needs with the help of our dedicated physicians and staff.
Patients have the option to choose between private rooms, semi-private suites and infusion pods, or the open social treatment areas—ensuring patients receive care in their preferred environment. This allows for privacy when necessary and social space when appropriate. The large windows offer natural light and a garden view to help time pass and make treatment more pleasant.
Infusion therapy can be a confusing and scary time, so we strive to make the Courtney Cox Cole Infusion Center as welcoming as possible. Additionally, the infusion center staff is happy to put you at ease by answering your questions and providing education and support.
